How Parish Partners Are Funding Ministry Through Family Stories

The idea behind our Parish Partner Program is simple: when a family in your congregation trusts us with their story, your parish should benefit too. That's why 10% of every project value goes directly to the referring parish's ministry fund — not to the diocese, not to a central account, but to your specific parish community.

We built this program because Legacy Media Partners was born in the Catholic communities of West-Central Ohio. The families we serve are parishioners. The stories we preserve are woven through decades of parish life — First Communions, confirmations, weddings, funerals, holiday gatherings after Mass. It felt wrong to build a business on these relationships without giving something meaningful back.

The tithe model works because it requires nothing from parish staff. We handle all the tracking, all the accounting, and all the communication. Each quarter, we send a check to the parish along with a written summary showing which families placed orders and the total project values. The parish simply deposits the check and decides how to use it.

For a mid-sized parish with around 350 registered families, our estimates suggest approximately 18 projects per year at an average value of $3,500 — generating roughly $6,300 in annual tithe revenue. That's enough to fund two mission trip scholarships, upgrade a classroom, or support a youth ministry initiative. For larger parish clusters, the numbers grow significantly.

But the real value goes beyond the dollars. When a parish introduces Legacy Media Partners to its families, it's offering a service that strengthens family bonds and preserves community history.
